LAX FC Sign Midfielder Matthew After Standout Open Tryout

LAX FC has officially welcomed midfielder Matthew to the club, adding a player with international training experience and strong potential to its growing squad.

Matthew joins the team after impressing the coaching staff during the club’s open tryout, earning his place through hard work and determination. His performances stood out among a competitive pool of players, demonstrating the technical ability and midfield presence the club was looking for.

Prior to joining LAX FC, Matthew gained valuable experience training with the reserve team of Universitario de Deportes, one of the most historic clubs in Peruvian football. The Lima-based side has won the Peruvian league title multiple times and is known for developing high-level talent. Training in that professional environment helped Matthew sharpen his tactical awareness, discipline, and technical skills.

Now bringing that experience to the United States, Matthew is expected to strengthen the LAX FC midfield with his composure on the ball and understanding of the game.

The signing also highlights LAX FC’s commitment to discovering and developing talent through its open tryout system. By giving players the opportunity to prove themselves directly in front of the coaching staff, the club continues to create a pathway for ambitious players to reach the next level.

Matthew will now begin integrating with the squad as preparations continue for the upcoming season, with the club confident that his experience and mentality will make a positive impact on the team.

For LAX FC, the message remains clear: opportunities exist for players who are willing to work, perform, and seize their moment.
