LAX FC Soccer Announces Expansion to Columbus, Georgia, Strengthening Its Growing Global Football Network

Columbus, Georgia — LAX FC Soccer is proud to announce the expansion of its organization to Columbus, Georgia, marking another significant milestone in the club’s continued growth across the United States and internationally.

Following consultations between LAX FC USA and LAX Global Group, both organizations have unanimously agreed to expand the LAX FC Soccer brand into the Georgia market. The new Columbus location will begin operations this season and will officially compete in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) during the upcoming Fall season.

This expansion represents another major step in LAX FC’s vision of building a global football network focused on player development, competitive opportunities, and creating pathways for athletes at every level.

With the addition of Columbus, LAX FC will now have five locations across the United States and ten locations across the United States, Canada, England, and Jamaica, further establishing the organization as one of the fastest-growing football platforms in North America and beyond.

The new Georgia location will feature a strong competitive structure, with three teams representing LAX FC in the Georgia Conference:

  • LAX FC – The club’s flagship men’s team competing at the highest level of competition.

  • LAX FC II – A developmental pathway designed to provide emerging players with competitive opportunities and a route toward first-team football.

  • LAX FC Women’s – Continuing LAX FC’s commitment to expanding opportunities for female athletes and growing the women’s game.

The Columbus expansion aligns with LAX FC’s long-term mission of identifying, developing, and providing opportunities for talented players from local communities and around the world. Through its growing network, the club continues to create pathways for athletes seeking competitive soccer, professional development, and opportunities beyond the field.

“Expanding into Columbus, Georgia is another important step in our journey,” said Saqlain Wildman, LAX Global’s Executive Chairman.

“Our goal has always been to build an organization that provides players with opportunities, develops talent, and connects communities through the game of soccer. We are excited to bring the LAX FC standard to Georgia and begin this new chapter.”

As preparations begin for the Fall UPSL season, LAX FC Columbus will focus on building its roster, establishing community partnerships, and creating a competitive environment that reflects the values and ambitions of the LAX FC brand.

The future of LAX FC continues to grow — and the next chapter begins in Columbus, Georgia.
